Please...Help Catty Kim!
Okay I admit that there are two reasons I have never ever been able to experience that thing that people talk about – the new car smell
- Because I have never owned a new car at 48 years old that should have happened
- Because I was born without a sense of smell so the new car smell is impossible but so is the smell of the litter box. But. something’s have an advantage
Since you are unable to help me with the second one I figure y’all can help me out with the first one

Wouldn’t you feel bad if I was broken down in my current car in a bad section of town and you had to read about me on the front page of the local paper?? 29 year old (hey I like to believe I look that young) very attractive female (this is my headline and I want it to say attractive) was found dead in her rust bucket car on a lonely deserted side street. Her right hand was holding her keys in the ignition and her left hand was in a fist. It was almost like you could hear her say “start dang you-start” But instead of starting this was her end she and the car both met their final resting place. So in the ever after she is still driving that car. Songs will be written, legends will be told about the lady that died in that car that was decrepitated and painted a flaky gold.
I know you don’t want the above mentioned story to appear in your paper. Wouldn’t you rather have me able to do this??
Tiger the poor ol’ cat was very, very sick and needed to get to the emergency vet really quick. Tiger’s owner tried with all her might but, her old wreck of a vehicle wouldn’t take flight. You could hear her yelling come-on you old wreck of mine – start dang you start just this one more time!! Catty Kim could tell a Cat was in desperate need so to the rescue Catty Kim and her brand new Chevy Cobalt did speed. Catty Kim rescued the owner and Tiger too because rescuing cats and their owners is something she loves to do. Catty Kim loaded them both into her new car, then drove them to the vet, it didn’t matter how far. Catty Kim sat with Tigers owner and waited to hear the vet say “Tiger the cat is going to be okay”. Then while Catty Kim drove Tiger and her owner safely to their home she asked the lady “Do you want to know how I got this brand new car of my own?? “ She then told the lady the power of the internet. Now the lady drives a new car and is happy but Tiger wonders why it couldn’t be a Corvette??
See what you can do by just donating a dollar or two?? ?? If I have a new car I can rescue Tiger and other cats and my own kitties too!!
So let’s get down to basics. I need a new car and I figure if about 18,000 people donate a dollar each (hey it’s less then a cup of coffee at Starbucks) I can have my new car and have the money to pay for tax, title and insurance.
Maybe you would like to know what I currently drive. I drive a 1989 Chevy Celebrity in a color that I call gold flake (the previous owner painted it gold and the color is flaking all over) the trunk leaks again (my hubby keeps using the epoxy to fix the rust holes) I haven’t started on the window leaks. Do you know what happens when your windows leak?? The rain ends up dropping on you and your lap gets wet. This is such an attractive look to arrive at work with. If it isn’t raining the radio works but we are in the wet season in Florida so I won’t have a radio. I guess I could just roll down the windows and sing really loud to cover the noises this car makes. That might be an idea maybe people will throw me money to stop my singing??
Maybe after hearing my tail of woe about this car you might want to know why I want a new Chevy?? My car is 16 years old with over 110,000 miles on it. But, this car has held up well and I have never met a Chevy I didn’t like. My hubby drove a 1976 Chevy Chevette that was over 20 years old when it died and it was the car we had our first date in. I just want to have the experience of driving a brand new Chevy!!
Also you might like to know I drive the good car in this family. Hubby drives a 1985 Mercury Marquise (the boat car) it was maroon at some time but I don’t know when. But his car would be great in a demolition derby. Just so you know when you help me get my new car. He will move up and drive my Chevy and his Mercury will be donated to charity. A car bashing event is what I am thinking.
So can y’all help me out in buy my reasonably priced car??
